THE LOWER LIMB CLINIC DIFFERENCE

The Lower Limb Clinic is a leading Melbourne podiatry practice specialising in orthotic treatment of foot, ankle and knee pain... quickly.

We’ve been treating foot, ankle and knee problems since 1997, with a focus on high quality custom-made orthotics and a holistic, multi-disciplinary approach to patient care. Over time, this has been refined and additional services are now offered, including podiatry, minor surgery, injection therapy, ultrasound and dry needling. We stress continued development, including sourcing the latest research, techniques, materials and technology and integrating them as appropriate.

All orthoses are manufactured on site by hand in a dedicated laboratory, to meet each patient's individual needs. This gives us control of the manufacturing process and a rapid turnaround time so you can be out of pain faster. We refuse to compromise on materials or quality. It’s that simple.

We understand that your time has value. We respect that and we don’t keep you waiting. We also don’t rush or unnecessarily extend consultations. Your priorities will always be listened to and we will guide you to the solution that we feel best meets your needs.

Rapid 48 Hour Turn-Around

Dr Amy Sherlock

B. Health Sci., M. Pod. Prac., M.A.Pod.A.

Dr Amy Sherlock

Dr Amy is a country girl, born and bred. A friendly, experienced podiatrist, she graduated from La Trobe University (Bendigo) in 2017 with a Bachelor of Health Sciences and a Master of Podiatric Practice. Since then, Amy has undertaken additional training in dry needling and shockwave therapy, as well as attending conferences and training to further her capabilities. She is currently undertaking a Master’s Degree in Sports Medicine.

Amy has previously worked in general podiatry and indigenous health, but she has a special interest in foot and ankle pain, musculoskeletal and athletic injuries and is a keen fitness enthusiast outside the office. Her particular driver is high level orthotic therapy, which led to her joining the family in our Elsternwick clinic. She has taken on our commitment to maintaining the best possible standards of patient care and is available for all aspects of podiatry offered by the practice. Amy officially joined The Lower Limb Clinic as an associate in 2021 and has been a popular, well-received addition to the family. She also has the world’s cutest beagle.

Dr Minji Kim

B.Pod., M.A.Pod.A.

Minji joined The Lower Limb Clinic in 2023, having previously lived in Hobart, Brisbane (twice) and South Korea. She has experience working in all aspects of podiatry, with additional training in dry needling and foot manipulation and mobilisation. At the moment however, her passion lies in biomechanical and sports podiatry and she has embraced the musculoskeletal caseload at the practice with enthusiasm.

Minji currently consults every day during the week and has been a welcome addition to the team. Outside of podiatry, her interests include ballet, painting, drawing and she’s a not so hidden coffee connoisseur (which is probably the real reason she moved to Melbourne).
